About the Role

We're seeking a Backend Engineer with experience in distributed systems and cloud architectures to join our core team. In this role, you'll work on systems that process events from web applications and transform them into user stories and automated tests. You'll be a key part of evolving our architecture and creating tools that will facilitate the work of thousands of developers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement systems to process events from our frontend SDK
  • Create algorithms to organize and transform events
  • Design and optimize orchestrators for cloud test execution
  • Create tools that allow developers to run Bugster in different environments

Required Skills

  • Backend development experience with Python (frameworks like FastAPI or Flask)
  • Strong knowledge of distributed architectures and event-driven systems
  • Practical experience with cloud services, especially AWS
  • Familiarity with Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • Solid knowledge of API design and development

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium)
  • Understanding of user behavior analysis systems
  • Experience with LLMs (Large Language Models) and code generation
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Experience with self-hosting tools and developer deployment
